Stone

I led a stone in shy darkness across the sky,

Covered with black thunders clouds and holy shroud.

Minor drops fell like cold flakes of snow,

Through my eyes, little do I know.

Less upon the lakes then I stood,

Blue waters with whitish mud over brown wood.

I wondered, how like a snake gulps the show,

Melting waters through rigid snow.

Tasteless, the hour astound and ashamed,

Though honor that was housed and tamed.

Fear of danger, and the lust of winner,

Sweeping the dreams from thin to thinner.

Wonder how I slept, for the eyes that kept,

Desires brimming demands and respect.

For that stone that laid me down and drowned,

Into the lake of destiny, deeper down and down.
